Chloe + Isabel: Review & Giveaway

Jewelry and fashion .. they go hand in hand. A piece of jewelry or a combo of pieces can either make or break an outfit. We all see the magazines and photo shoots of celebs and models sporting new key looks for the season, month in and out – but lets face how many people are able to spend the money on that new designer necklace valued over $1,000+. I know I can’t, but I of course still want the look, right? So you see the similar styles in the store in the mall but, they may be inexpensive but they look inexpensive. You need a piece of jewelry that looks like the real thing but the price tag makes you smile .. that’s where Chloe + Isabel fit right in. I was ecstatic (like most women would be) to have the chance to do a review on jewelry from Vanessa Kromer, Chloe + Isabel Merchandiser.

Chloe + Isabel is a place where smart, creative and confident women could play a significant role in creating an innovative new business model where they were at the center. Chloe + Isabel is both a brand and opportunity that combines elements of direct sales, retail and eCommerce with the sole purpose of providing a more meaningful experience to the modern woman. Their mission is, and remains to this day, to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs through social retail.

The Chloe + Isabel Brand was inspired by a concept we call “The Friendship Philosophy” – the idea of two best friends with different personalities and styles, united by their passion for style and self-expression. Chloe and Isabel are names that represent the two personalities we see in our customers, our Merchandisers, and ourselves.

“Chloe” is a fearless fashionista, always in search of the season’s hottest trends, while “Isabel” appreciates, above all, timeless, beautifully-crafted pieces. Whether you’re a Chloe, an Isabel, or a Chloe-bel (that’s a bit of both!), we are a destination for all women!

  • Each piece is hand-designed in our NYC studio, branded with signature c+i closures, and packaged in keepsake pouches
  • All of our jewelry is hypoallergenic, nickel-free, and lead safe
  • We offer a lifetime replacement and 30-day money back guarantee on every piece
  • We are inspired by a “Provence meets Paris” take on French country chic

As you can see from the above pictures I was given the Bead + Chain Multi Wrap Bracelet in green. I myself wore it as a bracelet and LOVED it!! So looking forward to changing it up and using it as a necklace soon. Mora’s Wine Club – Review

Now that April is behind us, many are thinking (and some are dreading) the next upcoming holiday … Mother’s Day. With the endless options available, the question is always asked, “What do I get Mom??!” Well in this review I’ve got your covered for a gift I think she’ll love regardless of the time of year! I know when it comes to gifts its nice to get something special and unexpected in the mail, and whats nicer then 2 bottles of specially selected wines delivered right to your recipients door step.  When I was approached by Mora’s Fine Wine & Spirits for their famous Wine Club, I couldn’t contain myself (if you know me then you know I LOVE my wine!!)

Those who aren’t familiar with Mora’s Fine Wine & Spirits, they were established in 1989 from a small neighborhood liquor store in East Setauket, NY – and transformed it into a fine wine shop. They have a vast selection both broad and globally, having both local vineyards wine available and just about any commercially available wine in the world, and is frequently updated. Whats also great is that they give background behind each carefully selected wine, and help to teach you while you enjoy your wine.

Now for Mother’s Day this is a perfect pairing, with this wine club they receive two bottles delivered each month with information included on each wine. You choose your price point/budget, and if you want a mix (1 red/1 white) or two of the same (2 reds or 2 whites).

As you can see from the above, I was able to try a mixed box. I received a Sonoma-Loeb Chardonnay 2011 & a Ridge Vineyards Zinfandel Three Valleys Dry Creek 2011. The informational card that was included was insightful on each vineyards history, and geographic location. They also mention what pairing the wine goes well with.

Both were served at my house this past weekend for the holiday, and I did hear that the Ridge Vineyards Red was a hit (one of my favorites as well). It is a great mixed varietal of different grapes which makes it a smooth red something that goes with just about any dish and was an easy drinking wine as well. The Sonoma- Loeb Chardonnay was excellent as well, and even though I am not a chardonnay drinker was very good.

In all I was very impressed with Mora’s Wine Club and am looking forward to other wine shipments in the upcoming months.
