Skin Care – what else can I say about it. For me when I was younger, and for most I didn’t honestly think about it to an excess much. Just whatever face wash was available on the store shelves, or my dermatologist suggested. Most of these products if not all would strip my face, making it irritated and worse than what I thought the product intended to do.
Now, that I have become more aware of health concerns including the skin (which is one of the bodies largest organs), I have taken upon myself to research more carefully. As I am getting older, I am also taking more of a look at the aging concern on skin and with all that’s on the commercials today with looking 10 years younger you can become overwhelmed with possibilities – believe me. So I was very excited to be offered the chance to try out Sibu Beauty Balancing Facial Cleanser.
Sibu Beauty, premium skin care products are made from the Himalayan sea buckthorn berry. Sibu Beauty features luxurious natural skin cleansers, moisturizers, and other topical treatments as well as dietary supplements that beautify and protect from the inside-out.

As I mentioned briefly above, I had the pleasure of trying out the Balancing Facial Cleanser. I was blown away by the facial cleaner. It was gentle enough on the skin helping remove excess oil and impurities yet it had tiny micro partials for a gentle exfoliation – safe to be used daily. It offered a citrus scent which is very invigorating in the morning hours, and removed makeup with ease. It has a non-foaming gel so for those that are used to foam (sulfates) which can be in skin care & hair care, it does takes getting used to for those who haven’t tried it.
Sodium lauryl sulfate, is most commonly used in shampoos, and general cleansers. It is the chemical that causes foam when you are washing your hair or face and is basically a detergent. The chemical is known to have an effect on cell membranes therefore causing breaking down proteins.
I myself researched the EWG’s Skin Deep Cosmetic Database further to see the level of toxicity of this product. This product scored a 1, being considered a low hazard. Which is great considering if you enter brands that many use currently you’re in the 2 or 3 level which is hazardous to ones health.
In all I was very happy with the balancing facial cleanser – and would love to try other products from their line including that purifying mask. The price point is great to, $17.95 for the facial cleanser – you don’t have to break the bank to get a good for you face wash.
I recommend checking out the products yourself.
